As a born in Germany, studied and now acting as an entrepreneur citizen, I allow myself to lose a few points of criticism on this topic.

Surely many have noticed that in Germany just now a long debate about AI takes place. It is mainly about the funding and promotion of this topic with the aim of not losing the connection. Three billion are called. A bad joke in comparison to some other industrialized countries. However, here are the 13 most essential points why Germany is failing in its AI strategy if they do not change their attitude quickly.

1.      The Germans are too over-cautious in some things.

2.      Still too much bureaucracy

3.      Too many lobbyists are blocking.

4.      Wrong occupation of important and decisive positions

5.      Antiquated structures in many organizational levels

6.      Talents and innovations are still under-funded.

7.      Too much comfort zone

8.      Rest on the already reached prosperity.

9.      Little imagination

10.   Startups are still under-funded

11.   No fail-forward thinking

12.   Little Courage

Last but not least

13.   We always have something to complain about ( this is self-reflection ).
